At Components Company, we strive to not only deliver quality products efficiently and on time; but to also deliver exceptional customer service. That’s why we greatly value customer feedback. We collect that feedback in the form of a questionnaire.
The Customer Questionnaire
We send out our customer questionnaire once a year. It is sent to our top 20 customers via email and this year it was sent to 35 individuals at those 20 companies.
While we want to gather the best information about our products and services from our customers, we also value their time. We have kept the questionnaire short and have formatted it in a rating system. We have also kept the question categories general enough to relate to a variety of customers but specific enough to give us valuable feedback.
There are six categories on which we ask to be rated:
- Meeting business requirements
- Clear and accurate communication
- Collaboration to provide value and solutions
- Overall product quality
- Meeting delivery schedule
- Competitive pricing
There are five rating levels for each category:
- Excellent
- Above average
- Average
- Below average
- Needs improvement
If a customer wishes to provide more information, comments or suggestions, we provide a space under the category rating part of the questionnaire for them to do so.
An Overall Positive Response
Our most recent customer questionnaire collected overwhelmingly positive responses (one of which can be seen in the image included at the top of this post).
We did not receive anything lower than an average rating in any of our categories. Our response rate is amazing too. In this past questionnaire, almost 50 percent of our customers responded!
As an incentive to fill out and return the questionnaire, customers who respond by the deadline are automatically entered to win either a $100 gift card or a $100 donation to a charity of their choice.
We appreciate all of the customers who filled out the questionnaire and value their feedback. The information collected helps us at Components Company deliver even better products and customer service.
